Convenient but kills battery

It is convenient to have the phone work as my lockbox key.
It is ridiculous that the app uses gps 24/7/365 if installed on the phone, even when the app is not in use.
Do not give it permission to use location services and be prepared to be asked "have you finished the showing" every 5 minutes during the showing.
